There was a post on social media today suggesting that our school was on lockdown, this was not the case. While social media can be a great tool for engaging with the public and sharing helpful information, its misuse can cause unnecessary concern for both the school and the community. Please be cautious when posting information related to the school and its students. A quick phone call to one of our secretaries can often clarify any misunderstandings ...and prevent the spread of false information.

Come join the Hilltop Homecoming Court Friday, September 20. The parade will step off at 6:00, and ceremonies will start at 6:30.

Congratulations to these teachers for prioritize scientific research and hands on learning and to our students who advanced to the District and State Science Day.

Hilltop High School was one of forty schools across the state to receive The Governor's Thomas Edison Award for Excellence in STEM Education and Student Research for their accomplishments during the 2023-2024 school year. Mr. Bryce Cooley, Mrs. Cristin Hagans, and Mr. Troy Cummins were also honored by the academy for their implementation of "scientific inquiry and technological design through student-focused, project based curricula". Schools can receive this distinction by hosting a local science fair, have two or more students participate in the District Science Day, and have at least one more youth science opportunity beyond the classroom.
